A holiday weekend is upon us, so let’s deviate from the norm here a little. One of my favorite authors and creative “thinkerers,” Michael Michalko, posted this last fall. Apparently the older (and more educated) we are, the harder it is to solve this riddle.
Try this on your friends, siblings, parents, children, etc. and let me know what you discover!
Riddle me this…
“A recent test revealed that 80% of first graders solved the following riddle while only 8% of Stanford graduates were able to solve it. Can you?
CAN YOU IDENTIFY WHAT THE FOLLOWING IS? TRY TO SOLVE IT BEFORE SEEKING THE ANSWER.”
- What has seven letters?
- What preceded God?
- What is greater than God?
- What is more evil than the devil?
- What do all poor people have?
- What do all wealthy people need?
- What is it that if you eat it, you will die?
The answer can be found here.
